About
Sarah grew up with six siblings on a hill farm on Dartmoor, they were free to roam and spent much of their childhood out of doors — building dens, climbing trees, rounding up sheep or helping pile up trailers precariously high with hay bales. This upbringing gave her a deep appreciation and connection to the natural world, along with a strong sense of curiosity and storytelling — it is these elements that often inform her creative work.
Now married with three children (and a bouncy labrador) in Leamington Spa, Sarah is an illustrator and designer, and founder of a small design studio dedicated to crafting thoughtful, characterful projects with her distinctive style. She approaches each project with a clear intention to storytell, aiming to create work that resonates and feels instantly engaging.
Sarah’s creative practice centers on illustrating by hand, using traditional materials like pen and ink, watercolour, acrylics, and vibrant markers to bring ideas to life with warmth and personality. She is a versatile, self-taught illustrator and designer who also works on a Mac using Adobe Creative Suite and on an iPad Pro with Procreate. Sarah’s work reflects a thoughtful balance of creativity and professionalism, making her well-equipped to collaborate with like-minded clients.
Away from the desk
Things I like best: hanging out with my family and friends / stripes / wild swimming / home-grown tomatoes (that intoxicating smell!) / walking barefoot / travelling the world / Dartmoor / a cosy fire / a good cup of tea. And, if you’re asking, a negroni please.
